Bobby and Jamie Deen
Bobby and Jamie Deen
Chefs, cookbook authors, managers of The Lady & Sons restaurant
Jamie and Bobby Deen had no idea how busy their lives would be as two successful sons of one very successful Food Network star, Paula Deen. In their own right Jamie and Bobby Deen have become celebrities in the food world.
The beginning of 2007 had Jamie and Bobby on the road filming new episodes of Road Tasted for The Food Network. Their mission was to search for the best local, hand-crafted foods. Armed with wit, ingenuity and a passion for all things food, the Deen boys offer a fresh, fun look at the specialty stores and family run businesses that make one-of-a-kind edibles. Eventually, homesickness drove them back home where they went back to The Lady & Sons restaurant.
Jamie and Bobby launched their first cookbook on April 3, 2007. The Deen Bros. Cookbook-Recipes from the Road was inspired by their travels with Road Tasted. The book was an instant hit and received rave reviews. The book tour took them all over the country during the spring and summer.
Their brand new cookbook: Y'all Come Eat was published on April 1, 2008.
Whatever Jamie and Bobby may be doing, they always have time for their mom! They have appeared individually and together on Paula's Party and the Emmy award winning Paula's Home Cookin'. They have also joined Paula on the road, and on stage, for her Paula Deen-Live show.
Jamie and Bobby have also kept busy hosting several public, private and charity events across the country. When they are not traveling, you can find them at The Lady & Sons restaurant, greeting guests and managing the day-to-day operations.

"The boys and I just want to thank all y'all who keep coming to the restaurants, watching the shows, and supporting me and my family. We love doing what we do, and we couldn't be happier putting a smile on your family's face with our food and stories and love." -- Paula Deen
