Lauralee Bell portrays Christine Blair Williams, a former model and accomplished attorney, on The Young and the Restless.
She was nominated for a Soap Opera Digest Award as Outstanding Younger Lead Actress in 1996, and in 1997 she received a Soap Opera Update nomination as Outstanding Younger Lead Actress. In 1999, she received a Soap Opera Digest Award in the category of Outstanding Supporting Actress. Bell was honored as Favorite Soap Opera Actress by Teen Magazine's national poll in 1989.
Her television credits include guest appearances on Diagnosis Murder and Walker, Texas Ranger. She recently finished filming Easy Rider: The Ride Back, a revisionist drama that delves into the family lineage of Wyatt Williams, the character made famous by Peter Fonda in the original Easy Rider Movie.
Bell, who is the daughter of Y&R creators William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell, began her daytime career with the series in 1977 at the age of nine as an extra in a non-speaking part. Following her family's gradual move from Chicago to Los Angeles, Bell became a full-time cast member while completing her senior year in high school in 1986.
Born on December 22, 1968, she lives in Los Angeles. She was the hottest daytime star in France for many years as well as their most frequent TV Guide cover subject. She guest-starred on the season finale of Walker, Texas Ranger, hosted television specials for E! Entertainment Television, PAX-TV and co-hosted a talk show pilot. On October 4, 1997, Lauralee married photographer Scott Martin in a storybook wedding in Santa Barbara. The couple had their first child, Christian, in January, 2001 and their second, Samantha, in October, 2002.
Lauralee also produces TWO web series: the hilarious Webby Award nominee Family Dinner with a cast that includes Shirley Jones, Phyllis Diller, and Cloris Leachman and Just Off Rodeo, a fusion of episodic entertainment with fashion retail.
