David Andrews was born and raised in raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He graduated summa cum-laude from Louisiana State University before going on to Stanford Law School. After becoming a member of the California bar and practicing law for a short time, he decided to leave the legal profession for an acting career. Now a 30-year industry veteran, David is a highly versatile actor who has worked with some of Hollywood's top directors.
Past film work includes roles in FAIR GAME, TERMINATOR 3, WYATT EARP, APOLLO 13, CHERRY 2000, FIGHT CLUB, HANNIBAL, A WALK TO REMEMBER, THE CONSPIRATOR, and WORLD WAR Z.
His television credits include NECESSARY ROUGHNESS, JUSTIFIED, HOUSE OF CARDS, REVOLUTION, COVERT AFFAIRS, CSI:MIAMI, LIE TO ME, DROP DEAD DIVA, GHOST WHISPERER, BROTHERS & SISTERS, CRIMINAL MINDS, THE CLOSER, STARGATE SG-1, JAG, and PULASKI: THE TV DETECTIVE for which he received an ACE Award nomination.
On television in 2014, he plays Secret Service agent Albert Hurst in NBC's series CRISIS, a conspiracy thriller starring Gillian Anderson, Dermot Mulroney, Rachael Taylor, Lance Gross, and REVENGE alum Max Martini as the villain.
David lives in North Carolina with his family and two dogs.
