Annabeth Gish first gained the attention of critics and moviegoers at the age of 13 when, according to film critic Roger Ebert, she delivered a performance "of stunning power" in the feature film DESERT BLOOM. She went on to star in MYSTIC PIZZA with Julia Roberts before attending Duke University where she graduated cum laude with a degree in English.
Her filmography includes numerous feature films such as SHAG, WYATT EARP, BEAUTIFUL GIRLS, STEEL, SLC PUNK!, THE LAST SUPPER, and DOUBLE JEOPARDY.
In 2001, she joined the cast of THE X-FILES as Special Agent Monica Reyes for a total of 23 episodes. She reprised this role in THE X-FILES REVIVAL, Winter 2016.
In 2003, Annabeth guest-starred on THE WEST WING playing Elizabeth Bartlet Westin, eldest daughter of President Josiah Bartlet (Martin Sheen).
In 2006, she played the role of Julia in the independent movie THE CELESTINE PROPHECY and costarred in CANDLES ON BAY STREET (TV) alongside Eion Bailey and Alicia Silverstone.
Also in 2006, she began a continuing major role in Showtime's BROTHERHOOD taking on the role of fictional Rhode Island State Representative Tommy Caffee's wife Eileen, who strives to maintain a model political family while struggling with adultery and drug abuse.
Since then, Annabeth has been in a number of television shows such as PRETTY LITTLE LIARS, SONS OF ANARCHY, THE BRIDGE, PARENTHOOD, PARKS & RECREATION, ONCE UPON A TIME, and CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION.
On February 2016, she signed on for a recurring role on ABC's hit Washington, D.C. drama series SCANDAL. As is the case with most castings on Shonda Rhimes series, the character Gish will play is being kept under wraps.
