Georgia June Goldberg received her BA at Yale College, her Juris Doctorate at Georgetown University Law Center, and her MArch at Princeton University School of Architecture.
She has participated in numerous Selected Group Exhibitions nationwide and has had Solo Exhibitions at Swarm Gallery (Oakland, CA), Chronicle Books ( San Francisco, CA), SOHO20 (New York City), Cannondale Gallery (Wilton, CT), and The Fig Tree Gallery (Berkeley, CA).
Her most recent awards and honors include: Marin Arts Council Grant Award at the Headlands Center for the Arts, (Sausalito, CA), Virginia Center for the Creative Arts Fellowship (Amherst, VA), Headlands Center for the Arts Affiliate (Sausalito, CA), and Villa Valparaiso, Artist–in–Residence (Mojacar, Spain). Her work is published in New American Painting, and written about by curators from MOMA, NY and the Guggenheim, NY.
Georgia June was also an Adjunct Professor at the California College of the Arts (San Francisco, CA) and at Corcoran College of Art (Washington, DC).
Her works are included in many public and private collections.
"I seek to capture moments of suspension between disintegrations and re-integrations of forms. My works conflate motion and force with delicate states of transition and suspension. Seeming to stop time, these pieces situate the viewer in a deep moment of silence."
