Christopher Atkins is a Golden Globe-nominated American actor, who became famous with his costarring debut role (with Brooke Shields) in the 1980 film The Blue Lagoon.

He also starred in the cult classic The Pirate Movie and over 50 other film and television projects. He has also written and produced films.

And he now builds lagoon-inspired pools!

"I know it sounds like a joke, but it's absolutely true. My partner and I design and build high-end swimming pools. In fact, we just finished a job creating a pool designed to look like a real lagoon." (WENN, 2/22/09)
