Visual artist and illustrator
Rachel Mindrup, a happy wife and mother of two wonderful little boys: Henry and Frederick, is a professional artist and illustrator. Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, she is currently living in Liberty, Missouri and illustrating in the Kansas City metro area. After graduating with a BFA from the University of Nebraska-Kearney, she continued her education at the Loveland Academy of Fine Art and the Los Angeles Academy of Art.
Rachel's client list includes: Kiewit Corporation, Boys Town, Creighton University, Walgreens Corporation, Boys Town National Research Hospital, Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and Miller Brewing Company. She has also illustrated numerous children's books through various publishing companies.
Her artwork is held in many private collections including those of Primatologist Jane Goodall and Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.
Currently, she is teaching art at both the Joslyn Art Museum in Omaha and the Kansas City Art Institute.
