David Duchovny is a television and film actor, writer, and director best known for his role as FBI Special Agent Fox Mulder on FOX's The X-Files. He has won Golden Globe awards for his work in that series and for his portrayal as Hank Moody, a troubled novelist in the Showtime series Californication (2007-present).
His films credits include Kalifornia, Playing God, Return to Me, Evolution, Zoolander, Full Frontal, Connie and Carla, House of D (which he also wrote and directed), Trust the Man, The TV Set, Things We Lost in the Fire, The Secret, and The Joneses.
In November 2010, David made his New York stage debut playing the sole survivor of an office massacre in Neil Labute's The Break of Noon.
David is married to actress Téa Leoni. They have two children: Madelaine West and Kyd Miller.
