Robot Chicken, Family Guy, Austin Powers, Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Seth Green is lucky he can do without much sleep since he's always working on multiple film and TV projects. The project that keeps him the busiest is Robot Chicken. He and the team won this year's Emmy for Outstanding Animated Program (short form). Robot Chicken, the Emmy-winning stop-motion animated series he and Matthew Senreich created for Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim, was renewed for a record-breaking 40 episodes for seasons five and six, the second half of season five begins airing this fall. The duo execs produce/write and sometimes direct (with Seth doing 35 – 60 voices each week) the show which debuted in February 2005 and has earned great reviews and garners the highest ratings of any original Adult Swim program ever. The sketch parody show, which regularly beats all other ad-supported cable and many network shows in the ratings, lampoons pop culture and features lots of Seth's celebrity friends doing voiceovers.
Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode III aired in December featuring Anthony Daniels (C3PO), Billy Dee Williams, and Ahmed Best reprising their roles from the films, Zac Efron as Anakin, and a host of celebrity guests.
Seth and Matthew are also busy as consultants on Lucasfilm's animated Star Wars comedy series. Seth directed the first two specials which featured George Lucas and Carrie Fisher, respectively. The DVDs were the top-selling TV shows on DVD upon release. The first two specials and the show all earned Emmy nominations (including Outstanding Voiceover for Seth twice) and won Annie Awards for the show, specials, writing and for Seth, directing.
Seth and Matthew's Stoopid Monkey Prods. produce feature films and TV shows. Along with Tom Root, the duo executives produce Adult Swim's Titan Maximum that debuted to great ratings last year with Seth voicing the villain.
Seth co-starred with John Travolta and Robin Williams in Disney's comedy, Old Dogs. He continues to record new episodes of Family Guy (as son Chris Griffin), Fox's hit animated comedy series that is also drawing record ratings. And he reprised his Entourage role as his own fictional jerky alter ego.
He was one of the producers of www.controltv.com, an online reality show with a twist and, with Hugh Sterbakov, he created The Freshmen, a successful comic book series for Top Cow.
Seth garnered raves for starring in Paramount's Without a Paddle, The Italian Job and Party Monster. He began starring in films when he was eight and remains funny, brilliant and a known scene-stealer. Entertainment Weekly previously named him Best TV Actor and E! Entertainment Television's poll proclaimed him the hottest young actor in Hollywood. He's equally popular among critics and fans.
He also starred in all three record-breaking Austin Powers films, Rat Race, Knockaround Guys and Can't Hardly Wait. As a kid, Seth starred in Woody Allen’s Radio Days. He has numerous other films and many previous television series to his credit including Four Kings, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Greg the Bunny.
