Mark Feuerstein stars as Hank Lawson in the USA Network original series ROYAL PAINS. A familiar face to many, thanks to numerous memorable roles, he has worked consistently over the past seventeen years, receiving critical acclaim for his performances in film, television, and theater.
In 2008, he played Isaac Malbin in Ed Zwick's World War II epic Defiance with Daniel Craig and Liev Schreiber. In 2005 he appeared as Simon Stein in Curtis Hanson's In Her Shoes with Toni Collette, Cameron Diaz and Shirley Maclaine. Additional film credits include Abandon, What Women Want, Sing Now or Forever Hold Your Peace, The Muse, Rules of Engagement, Woman on Top, and Practical Magic.
He has also appeared regularly on the small screen. He starred opposite Stanley Tucci in the CBS drama 3 lbs, and appeared as Leo in Once and Again and Josh in Sex and the City. Mark also memorably played young Republican lawyer Cliff Calley in The West Wing. Additional television credits include Caroline in the City, Conrad Bloom, Fired Up!, Good Morning, Miami, and The Hustler.
He made his Broadway debut starring in Alfred Uhry's Tony Award-winning play The Last Night of Ballyhoo. He was on stage for two hours straight in Some Girls, written and directed by Neil LaBute at the Geffen Theatre. Mark also played to sold out audiences and garnered glowing reviews for his performance as a Hollywood bottom feeder in Roger Kumble's dark comedy Turnaround. His extensive theater resume also includes performances in Twelfth Night, Awake & Sing, Dark Rapture, The Misanthrope, Macbeth, Three Sisters, A Streetcar Named Desire, and King Lear.
Earlier in 2012, Mark joined the coast of the romantic sci-fi indie In Your Eyes. Written by Joss Whedon, the film centers on two people (Michael Stahl-David and Zoe Kazan) who live on opposite sides of the country but are able to see and hear each other despite having never met. Mark will play Kazan’s "cold, controlling husband."
He is bi-coastal, with residences in both Los Angeles and New York, where he lives his wife, tv writer Dana Klein, and their children Lila Jane, Frisco Jones and Addie.
