Smallville, Longmire
Cassidy Freeman was born and raised in Chicago, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Middlebury College with degrees in Theatre and Spanish. The youngest of three actor siblings, she joined her brothers in Los Angeles and since then, various projects have taken her to Vancouver, New York City, Chicago, Atlanta, Santa Fe and even to Bolivia.
On television, Freeman was a series regular on the CW hit series SMALLVILLE (as the villainous and eerily enticing Tess Mercer, the manipulative ruler of the LuthorCorp) and has also appeared on A&E's LONGMIRE, THE PLAYBOY CLUB, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, COLD CASE, and all three CSI series.
On the big screen, she served as co-executive producer and starred in the horror-thriller YELLOWBRICKROAD, which premiered at Slamdance and traveled a vigorous festival schedule arriving in AMC Theatres across the country. Other film credits include the comedy FINISHING THE GAME, and the indie feature BRAHMIN BULLS.
On stage, summer Shakespeare near Washington DC took Freeman to a NYC-staged production of Anthony Minghella’s radio play CIGARETTES AND CHOCOLATE at the Atlantic 2 Theatre. In LA, she starred in THE MAIDS at the Moth Theatre and continues to be a part of Playhouse West.
