Since making his name in the 2002 blockbuster ABOUT A BOY, Nicholas Hoult has gone on to work in a variety of film and television roles. His film highlights include KIDULTHOOD, Richard E. Grant's WAH-WAHh, THE WEATHER MAN with Nicholas Cage and Michael Caine, A SINGLE MAN with Colin Firth and Julianne Moore, CLASH OF THE TITANS alongside Ralph Fiennes and Liam Neeson, and X-MEN: FIRST CLASS with James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender.
For his performance in A SINGLE MAN, Nicholas was nominated for a BAFTA Rising Star Award.
His television credits include: BBC's WALLANDER, WAKING THE DEAD, and SILENT WITNESS; COMING DOWN THE MOUNTAIN; and Paramount/Fox TV's KEEN EDDIE.
He became a star in his own right at 17 through his portrayal of heartless heartthrob Tony Stonem in the hit series SKINS (2007-08) for Channel 4 UK. Full of callous swagger and vulnerability, this was the show's standout performance.
In 2008 Nicholas made his London West End debut in the lead role of Barry in NEW BOY at the Trafalgar Studios to outstanding reviews.
Nicholas played the role of Beast in X-MEN: FIRST CLASS (20th Century Fox) in the summer of 2011.
In WARM BODIES (released Feb. 1, 2013), the Summit Entertainment adaptation of the Isaac Marion novel, he plays an existentially tormented zombie who begins an unlikely friendship with the girlfriend of one his victims. He also has the lead role in JACK THE GIANT SLAYER for director Bryan Singer at New Line (release date - March 1, 2013).
