Seth Green is the ultimate multitasker simultaneously working on multiple film and TV projects as an actor/ creator/executive producer and writer. His Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program Short Format, multiple Annie Awards (including one for directing) and multiple nominations for the voiceover Emmy Awards can attest to the fact that he successfully manages to do everything well and give the illusion that it's effortless. That's a little tougher to do now that he's on six television shows simultaneously and two of them are full-time jobs. If you do the math, that doesn't leave much time for sleep or anything else.
Green stars in the 20th/Fox live action comedy series DADS, which debuted in September and was picked up for additional episodes. Their season finale aired in February and they already taped another episode. The Tuesday night 8 PM comedy on Fox has Seth portraying Eli, a manboy who runs a successful gaming business with on-screen business partner (Giovanni Ribisi). His life changes when his nightmare absentee dad (Peter Riegert) unexpectedly moves in with him and wrecks havoc while his business partner is enduring the same with his dad (Martin Mull). The show extends his relationship with FAMILY GUY boss Seth MacFarlane, where Green has voiced naive son Chris Griffin since the inception of the popular animated comedy series. TED scribes Alex Sulkin and Wellesley Wild write/exec produce Dads, infusing it with laugh-out-loud humor. Green also voices A-Bomb on Disney XD's Marvel's HULK and the AGENTS OF S.M.A.S.H. and has two other shows he's been working on for months to be announced soon.
In films, Green starred in last year's Lionsgate feature SEXY EVIL GENIUS, with Katee Sackhoff, Michelle Trachtenberg and Harold Perrineau. He also narrated the filmmakers' documentary, JUJITSUING REALITY, about Scott Lew, who wrote the film while fighting ALS. The doc was named to the short list of nominees for an Academy Award. Green starred as Lou Taylor Pucci's autistic boss in THE STORY OF LUKE, still winning film festival kudos. He also wrapped a starring role in the upcoming feature, THE IDENTICAL, with Ray Liotta, Ashley Judd and Joey Pantoliano. The film will be released in September. He also has the starring role in the upcoming animated film, YELLOWBIRD.
Green and Stoopid Monkey producing partner Matthew Senreich created ROBOT CHICKEN, the Emmy Award-winning, stop-motion animated series. Green serves as exec producer, primary voice talent, writer and sometimes director of the pop culture parody show, which debuted in February 2005 and earns great reviews while garnering the highest ratings of any original Adult Swim program. ROBOT CHICKEN is wrapping production on season 7 and recently aired the sequel to the ROBOT CHICKEN DC Comics Special, both directed by Green. The show's DVDs are often the top-selling TV shows upon their release. In 2012, they teamed with Buddy Systems to unveil their new animation studio, Stoopid Buddy Stoodios. Green is also the investor/spokesperson for Shodogg, a proprietary video delivery platform.
Green won raves starring in Paramount’s THE ITALIAN JOB, WITHOUT A PADDLE and PARTY MONSTER. He began starring in films as a child (Woody Allen's RADIO DAYS) and remains funny, brilliant, and a known scene-stealer who is equally popular among critics and fans. He also starred in all three record-breaking AUSTIN POWERS films, RAT RACE, KNOCKAROUND GUYS, OLD DOGS, and CAN'T HARDLY WAIT, among many others. He has numerous other films and television series to his credit, including BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER and GREG THE BUNNY.
