Robert Patrick shot to fame by starring opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger in 1991's TERMINATOR 2: JUDGEMENT DAY. He played the T-1000, a seemingly unstoppable Terminator that assumed human form and fought against Schwarzenegger's T-800.
His film career has spanned an impressive range of roles. His many feature credits include IDENTITY THIEF with Melissa McCarthy, LOVELACE with Amanda Seyfried, GANGSTER SQUAD with Ryan Gosling and Sean Penn, TROUBLE WITH THE CURVE with Clint Eastwood, THE MEN WHO STARE AT GOATS with George Clooney and Jeff Bridges, SAFE HOUSE with Denzel Washington, FLAGS OF OUR FATHERS, WALK THE LINE with Joaquin Phoenix, TEXAS RANGERS, SPY KIDS, THE FACULTY, COP LAND, SPY KIDS, and ALL THE PRETTY HORSES.
Robert appeared in several episodes of THE SOPRANOS (2000) as a store owner struggling with gambling debts owed to DiMeo Crime Family soldier Richie Aprile. He also became well-known for his role as Agent John Doggett in the final two seasons of THE X-FILES (2000-2002). From 2006-2009, he had a regular role on CBS's THE UNIT as Colonel Tom Ryan and played Master Chief Joseph Prosser in all 13 episodes of ABC's LAST RESORT (2012-2013). He plays Jackson Herveaux in the 6th season of HBO's TRUE BLOOD.
He spends countless hours giving back to his community. He has been the honorary grand marshal for the Love Ride for many years, helping to raise millions of dollars in the fight against autism; has built homes for disabled veterans with Habitat for Humanity; has participated in the Read Across America program by reading to children; and has ridden across the country to participate in Rolling Thunder, which makes sure that the U.S. administration does not forget the POWs and MIAs from past wars. He also took two trips to the Middle East with the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Michael Muller, to support the troops. He is a member of the Boozefighters Motorcycle Club which supports numerous charitable events.
Born in Marietta, Georgia, Robert grew up as an avid athlete but was taken with acting after sitting in on some drama classes in high school. He moved to Hollywood in 1984 and was cast in the beatnik play GO. He got his break during this performance when he was discovered by director George Gorman. Ever involved in all aspects of his trade, he enjoys producing films when he is not performing. Robert lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Barbara, and their two children.
