Rebecca Spence (Janice Gibson) is an actress based in Chicago. Working often in both Chicago theater and regional theater, she has been nominated for Joseph Jefferson Awards (Chicago's theater awards) for her work in "Les Liasons Dangereuses" at Remy Bumppo Theater Company and "These Shining Lives" at the Rivendell Theatre Ensemble.
Other Chicago theatre credits include "This" with Theatre Wit; "The Voysey Inheritance" with Remy Bumppo; "The Crucible", "Household Spirits", "Our Lady of 121st Street" and the world premiere of "Pacific", all with Steppenwolf Theatre; "Days of Wine and Roses" with Keyhole Players; "The Beginning of August" with Pendulum Theatre Company; "Desdemona: A Play About a Handkerchief" with TriArts; "Twelfth Night" with Noble Fool Theatricals and "Dracula" with Defiant Theatre. She has also worked with Milwaukee Repertory Theater in their production of "Cyrano" and its subsequent Wisconsin tour.
In movies, she has been seen in MAN OF STEEL, TIGER TAIL IN BLUE, CONTAGION, THE DILEMMA, AUDREY THE TRAINWRECK, EARTHLING, PUBLIC ENEMIES, GRACE IS GONE, and BREAK-UP. Her television credits include: BETRAYAL, BOSS, THE MOB DOCTOR, DETROIT 1-8-7, THE CHICAGO CODE, THE BEAST, and PRISON BREAK.
On television in 2014, she plays Janice Gibson in NBC's series CRISIS, a conspiracy thriller starring Gillian Anderson, Dermot Mulroney, Rachael Taylor, Lance Gross, and REVENGE alum Max Martini as the villain.
