Yuri Sardarov stars as Brian "Otis" Zvonecek, Firehouse 51's elevator rescue specialist who also runs a popular podcast where he shares his unique firefighter wisdom, in NBC's drama CHICAGO FIRE.
Along with his Georgian and Armenian parents, he immigrated to the United States when he was two, living primarily in St. Louis and Chicago.
While studying acting at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, Sardarov landed his first major role in the Chicago stage version of THE HISTORY BOYS. This led to his feature film debut in THE DOUBLE starring Richard Gere, directed by Michael Brandt and written by CHICAGO FIRE creators/executive producers Brandt and Derek Haas. Shortly thereafter, Sardarov appeared in the THE IDES OF MARCH and the Academy Award-winning ARGO.
Dividing his time between Los Angeles and Chicago, he enjoys cooking and playing basketball.
