Colin Morgan has received numerous awards and accolades for his work in film, television and theater. He is perhaps best known for starring as the title character in the BBC television series MERLIN. He won numerous awards for his five-season run as the famous young wizard, including the Caron Keating Outstanding Newcomer at the Variety Showbiz Awards (2008); Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series at the Monte Carlo TV Festival Awards (2009, 2010 and 2011); Best Actor at the TV Quick Awards (2011 and 2012), at the Virgin Media TV Awards (2012) and at the SFX Awards (2013); and Best Male Drama Performance at the National Television Awards (2013). His other television credits include DOCTOR WHO, THE FALL, QUIRKE, and THE CATHERINE TATE SHOW.

Morgan's feature credits include PARKED, in which he starred with Colm Meaney; ISLAND; TESTAMENT OF YOUTH with Alicia Vikander and Kit Harington; and LEGEND alongside Tom Hardy and Emily Browning.

On stage, Morgan has earned critical acclaim for his various roles. In 2008, he won the DEWYNTERS London Newcomer of the Year Award for his turn in the title role in VERNON GOD LITTLE and in 2013 he won Best Featured Actor in a New Production of a Play from the Broadway World West End Awards for his role as Ariel in THE TEMPEST. His other theater credits include Mojo, Our Private Life, A Prayer for My Daughter and All About My Mother.
