Jeri Ryan is a versatile actress who has had a remarkable career, with memorable roles in some of TV's most popular shows that have continued to keep her a favorite with viewers around the world.
She starred as Dr. Kate Murphy in three seasons of the ABC drama series BODY OF PROOF and, from 2009 to December 2012, she played occasional guest star Tara Cole on TNT's LEVERAGE.
Ryan began her acting career with guest-starring roles on a number of hit TV shows, including WHO'S THE BOSS, MELROSE PLACE, MATLOCK, THE SENTINEL, and was a series regular on DARK SKIES. In 1997 sci-fi fans took notice of her when she was cast to play the iconic role of Seven of Nine on the series STAR TREK: VOYAGER. She later joined the cast of BOSTON PUBLIC as Ronnie Cooke, a role that the show's producer, David E. Kelley, wrote specifically for her.
Other TV projects include a recurring role as Charlotte Morgan on THE O.C., and guest-starring roles on Kelley's BOSTON LEGAL as well as LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT, PSYCH, TWO AND A HALF MEN, BOSTON PUBLIC, ARROW, NCIS, HELIX, MAJOR CRIMES, and WAREHOUSE 13. Additionally, she starred in the legal drama SHARK opposite James Woods.
Film credits include DRACULA 2000 opposite Gerard Butler, DOWN WITH LOVE and MORTAL KOMBAT: REBIRTH.
Ryan focuses her efforts on a variety of causes that are important to her, including cancer research, pediatric healthcare research via St. Jude's Children's Hospital, and anti-bullying legislation in schools with organizations such as GLSEN.
Born in Munich, Germany, Ryan resides in Los Angeles with her husband, chef Christophe Émé, son Alex and daughter Gisele.
