The Waltz, The Problem of Gravity
Trevor Zhou is an award winning filmmaker, writer, actor and artist living in New York. Born in Beijing, China, Trevor and his family moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan when he was five. He attended the University of Michigan and received a Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Studies. During his time in college, he studied abroad for a year at the University of Cape Town in South Africa where he focused on fine art.
Trevor’s work revolves around conceptual projects that utilize a multitude of mediums including electronics, sculpture, ceramics, paint and installation. He then transitioned into acting, performing in a number of independent films and appearing in national and regional commercials.
A few of his television credits include LAW & ORDER: SVU, THE BLACKLIST, BROAD CITY, and PERSON OF INTEREST. He can also be seen in THE SITTER with Jonah Hill and BATMAN v SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE.
Trevor wrote, directed and produced the short film THE PROBLEM OF GRAVITY which played on PBS and was the official selection in numerous film festivals. His short film THE WALTZ won several awards and was screened around the world on the festival circuit. He is now working on new short horror film.
