Bill Mumy is an actor, musician, writer and producer. He started his acting career at the age of five. He's worked on over 400 television shows and 20 feature films and his career spans seven decades. As an actor, he's best known for his roles as "Will Robinson" on the 1960's series, LOST IN SPACE "Lennier" on BABYLON 5, and "Anthony Fremont" from THE TWILIGHT ZONE.
He's written comic books for Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, Epic, Innovation, Bluewater comics and others.
With Peter David, he co-created, wrote and produced SPACE CASES, a live action sci-fi adventure comedy series on Nickelodeon and syndicated in over sixty countries. The series ran for two seasons (1996 -97) and was nominated for a Cable Ace Award for best children's series. He has also written several short stories and graphic novels including, "Lost in Space: Voyage to the Bottom of the Soul", "The Dreamwalker", "The Black '59" and "The Undeadliest Game".
Mumy has been a musician and songwriter since he was ten years old. Music has been the steady driving force in his life. He has released twelve solo albums and nine albums as half of the novelty-rock band, "Barnes and Barnes" best known for their hit song and film, "Fish Heads". His original songs have been featured in many television shows, films and commercials. He was nominated for an Emmy for songwriting on Disney's ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND live action series, a project he wrote over one hundred songs for. As a voice over artist, Bill has narrated over fifty episodes of A&E's BIOGRAPHY as well as supplying character voices for animation like, BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES, BUZZ LIGHTYEAR OF STAR COMMAND, REN AND STIMPY, SCOOBY DOO, BEN 10, BRAVEST WARRIORS, RESCUE BOTS, and numerous commercials.
Bill and his LOST IN SPACE co-star Angela Cartwright collaborated on a pictorial memoir, "Lost (and Found) In Space", which offers photographs and personal tales while filming the show for three years. "On Purpose", a fantasy adventure novel Bill wrote with Angela is his latest endeavor.
