Born in South Africa to a black South African mother and a white European father, Trevor Noah is the most successful comedian in Africa. He hosts the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning THE DAILY SHOW.
This past year, THE DAILY SHOW was nominated for a Writers Guild Award,a GLAAD award and two NAACP Image Awards. Noah also won Best Host at the 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards as well as a Creative Arts Emmy Award for Outstanding Short Form Variety Series for THE DAILY SHOW - BETWEEN THE SCENES.
In 2016, Trevor released his first book, "Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood," which was a New York Times bestseller and received the Thurber Prize for American Humor as well as two NAACP Image Awards. Additionally, his performance on the Born a Crime audio book was Audible’s highest rated audio book of 2016, and has remained one of the top selling titles on Audible since its release.
His stand-up specials include "Afraid of the Dark" (2017), " Lost in Translation" (2016) and "African American" (2013).
