Actress: I Dream of Jeannie
Barbara Eden is an actress and singer who is best known for her starring role in the sitcom I Dream of Jeannie. She is one of the U.S.A.'s most endearing and enduring stars.
She has appeared in numerous feature films and television shows and, as a singer, has headlined at many of America’s top hotel resorts and casinos in Lake Tahoe, Atlantic City and Las Vegas, including the MGM Grand, Caesar’s Palace, Desert Inn and Harrah’s, as well as on concert stages and in theaters across America.
Her long running series, I Dream of Jeannie has been on television screens globally for 40 uninterrupted years since beginning its first year network run in 1965.
Barbara's most recent work includes starring in the play Love Letters with Hal Linden and a guest starring role on the Lifetime series Army Wives, written and produced by her niece, Katherine Fugate.
In December 2008 she began filming of the TV Movie Always and Forever for the Hallmark Channel that will be shown in September or October 2009.
