Greg Ellis is an English actor best remembered for his portrayal of Michael Amador the virus broker in season 3 of the award winning Fox drama 24 (2003-2004) starring Kiefer Sutherland and for his portrayal of Lieutenant Groves in The Pirates of the Caribbean movies.
Greg can be seen as Chief Engineer Olson in J.J. Abrams's new Star Trek movie (in theatres now).
He also has a steady voice over career, giving voices to the games SOCOM II: U.S. Navy SEALs, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, Tomb Raider: Legend, SOCOM 3: U.S. Navy SEALs, Ty the Tasmanian Tiger, and to cartoons such as The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy and Invader Zim. His voice was also featured in the Playstation 2 games Rogue Galaxy, as the character Simon Wicard, Cait Sith in Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII, and Tomb Raider: Underworld as Alister Fletcher.
On television, he played Joe Reilly in the critically acclaimed FX network series The Riches (2008) with Eddie Izzard and Minnie Driver. He also appeared in the X-Files episode Triangle (1998).
Greg has played Simon Cochran, the nemesis to Eric McCormack's character, in 7 episodes of the TNT show Trust Me.
Greg can be heard in cinemas later this year as Harry Hold in Lions Gate's Foodfight (animation) with Charlie Sheen, Hilary Duff and Eva Longoria.
In addition, Greg's vocal dexterity can also be heard on numerous animated cartoon series including Scooby Doo, Bratz, Boondocks, Heavy Gear, Jackie Chan Adventures, Angry Beavers, Grim & Evil, Teen Titans, The Wild Thornberries, The Fairly Odd Parents, Ben 10, Atom, Invader Zim and The Mummy.
An accomplished singer/songwriter, Ellis has performed for H.R.H Queen Elizabeth at Saint Paul's Cathedral. As well as performing on many album soundtracks, his recordings can be heard extensively throughout Europe where he has achieved 3 Top 20 singles.
