Victor Garber currently stars in NBC's midseason drama DECEPTION as Robert Bowers, the patriarch of the Bowers family and CEO of Bowers Pharmaceuticals. Robert - a loving father, unfaithful husband and ruthless businessman - is the head of a Fortune 500 company and dreams of a family dynasty, yet the very thing getting in the way of this ambition is his troubled children.
With six Emmy and four Tony nominations to his credit, Garber has been seen in some of the most memorable works of film, television and stage.
Most recently, he co-starred in Ben Affleck's award-winning ARGO. He also portrayed San Francisco Mayor George Moscone in Gus Van Sant's Academy Award–nominated film MILK. Additional film credits include THE FIRST WIVES CLUB, SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE, LEGALLY BLONDE and the Academy Award-winning film TITANIC.
For his work on television, Victor has been nominated for six Emmy Awards, including three for the ABC drama ALIAS, two for comedic guest-star roles on FRASIER and WILL & GRACE and a nomination for his portrayal of Sid Luft in the television movie LIFE WITH JUDY GARLAND: ME AND MY SHADOWS.
He was a regular on ALIAS, ELI STONE, and JUSTICE and most recently guest starred on WEB THERAPY, THE BIG C, NURSE JACKIE, DAMAGES, and GLEE. Other credits include television musicals ANNIE, RODGERS AND HAMMERSTEINS'S CINDERELLA and Meredith Willson's THE MUSIC MAN.
He also earned four Tony nominations for his work in DAMN YANKEES, LEND ME A TENOR, DEATHTRAP, and LITTLE ME. He performed in the workshops of Sondheim's ASSASSINS and WISE GUYS as well as in the Tony Award–winning play ART.
In 2012, he joined the cast of Richie Mehta's sci-fi mystery I'LL FOLLOW YOU DOWN (currently in post-production) alongside Gillian Anderson, Haley Joel Osment, and Rufus Sewell.
