Jorge Garcia is best known as the unluckiest lottery winner, Hugo "Hurley" Reyes, on LOST. He most recently starred in the FOX television series ALCATRAZ, played The Giant twice on ABC's ONCE UPON A TIME, and was a drug dealer in two episodes of CALIFORNICATION. He is also a stand-up comedian.
After graduating from UCLA, he joined the Beverly Hills Playhouse and has been working steadily ever since. His television credits include being a series regular on BECKER, as well as guest stints on MR. SUNSHINE, FRINGE, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM, and SPIN CITY. In 2006 Garcia received an NCLR Alma Award for his work on LOST, and in 2007 he was nominated once again, as well as being nominated for an Imagen Foundation Award.
He appeared in the comedy DECK THE HALLS opposite Matthew Broderick, Danny DeVito, Kristin Chenowith and Kristin Davis. His other film credits include the independent films THE GOOD HUMOR MAN opposite Kelsey Grammer, LITTLE ATHENS and SWEETZER.
He has performed on various L.A. stages as a standup comedian, as well as in productions of THE MIDNIGHT ZONE, SOMETHING BORROWED SOMETHING BLUE and ROMANCING VALENTINO.
